France Fishing Trip in 2025: How Boatman bait boat helped for catching big fishes

As the tradition of Boatman team, we will come to France every year for fishing.

In May of this year, Boatman Team and also friends came to France for fishing again.

We stayed there for one week, and got 72 fishes together, the biggest one is 35Kg.

We drove 8 hours from Belgium to France Lake, our friends drove more than 20hours or flied from another country to the lake, we went together as a family.

For the first day, we sett up all tents, fishing gears, ovens very fast, because we had a big team.

In this trip, we used our own fishing line, fishing rigs, bite alarm, of course, our own bait boats.

Although we had gone there many times, the lake was under decoration, Karol, the owner of the lake dug the lake for deeper. So we used our Boatman bait boat to help us to do more work. We brought Actor-plus, Leader-pro, Vulcan bait boat, some new testing boats.
 

First of all, we used the leader pro sonar fish finder to detect the land of the lake and to check if there was any change for the lake bottom. Because we used the leader-pro boat many times in the same lake, and the point was saved, what was a amazing thing!  Even pass one year, the point was still accurate at the same place. We remembered the first time when we came to the lake, we used the boat scan the whole lake to check where should be the best point to put the bait, and this time, we just need to check the saved point, if it still was the best point. You guys know where to be the best point to put the bait, do you?

I think using sonar fish finder to find a good point is the most step for fishing with bait boat. Only after you know where to put the bait, you will not waste the bait.

After we know the bottom of the lake had not been changed a lot, we drove the boat back to the bank to carry the bait, we put boilies with banana flavor, and then some spicy taste boilies in the first layer, and some boiled wheats, corns, tiger nut, etc to top layer. For the tiger nut, when I first saw it in Belgium, I never noticed this in China before, Johan told me I could eat it. I thought he was making a joke, but I tried. It taste very nice, sweet, and something like one plant in China, which we eat as fruit. I thought, if when I was fishing, I had no food, I can survived myself with tiger nut. Of course, we put rigs together with the baits in the boat hopper. Thanks for the Leader-pro boat can carry 4-6kg bait one time, we only need to drove one time.

Then we waited bite alarm to beep, at the first, we were wondering if our new product bite alarm did not work, we waited for some long time no any beeping. So we used our mid size boat, actor-plus and Vulcan bait boat GPS navigation function to add the baits at the same saved point. And then just minutes, bite alarm beeped. All were excited, first fish was got with 25Kg, when I hold her to take a picture, she impacted my face heavily, can you image, I am 40kg, and my little face was impacted by a 25kg fish. The pain would be kept in my rest whole life memory.

And the next days, we just used our boatman bait boats sonar fish finder and GPS function to save point and navigate the saved point, repeated all steps. We talked in the tent, we danced, we played games, we did BBQ, we drunk, we had the party. Without the bait boats, we may need to cast and cast, we could not had such happy fishing trip in France.

During this trip, Ram had his best personal record, so we poured water to celebrate it.
